Altitude weather delta
High 5,907 m minus low 1,630 m is 4,277 m of relief on this record. A standard tropospheric lapse of 6.5 °C per 1,000 m implies about 27.8 °C cooler at the high point than the valley, all else equal.
That is a model (International Standard Atmosphere environmental lapse), not a forecast and not a trail-closure. Wind, snow, and storms stay in Hazards.

Ingested from OpenStreetMap relation 17641449 (ODbL). The mapped line and 2D length are derived from that geometry. Ascent, descent, and high/low points are sampled from Copernicus GLO-30 (copernicus-dem:glo-30) and remain provisional. Water, permits, and hazards were not taken from OSM tags and must be verified.
Geometry inspected 2026-08-24 on OSM.org (ODbL). Relation 17641449 is named “Miristi Khola”, network=nwn, route=hiking, two members: way 1236051882 (highway=track) and way 1236051881 (highway=path, source=Strava Heatmap). Strava’s heatmap is proprietary; an OSM tracing of it is weaker than a survey or GPS trace and is not a reason to treat this line as the khola walk. The stored profile climbs from 1,631 m at the west end (28.5383°N, 83.6745°E) to 5,903 m at the east terminus (28.6183°N, 83.8277°E) — the high is the last vertex, so the Copernicus figure is a real sample of this geometry, not a mid-line spike. That does not confirm the relation. Terminus sits on the north side of the Annapurna massif. Looks like a heatmap/approach line, not a teahouse khola itinerary. High/low left as sampled; not replaced with an invented river-bed elevation. Stays under review until the geometry itself is confirmed or replaced.
