How hiking permit systems work
A hiking permit is whatever the land manager requires before you walk: sometimes a named ticket, sometimes a hut or campsite booking, sometimes nothing. The name on the ticket is the issuer. The price, if there is one, is the figure on that issuer's page, in local currency. This note does not list those prices.
Three shapes show up often. A priced ticket names an amount. A booking system prices the bed or the campsite rather than the walking. A trail with no government permit can still have huts that set their own nightly price. Those are different facts.
