Government fees and operator markup
The canonical figure is the cost string on the trail record. A dated currency conversion is not stored. Operator markup is not stored. This page does not add either.
Where a record has a cost, the trail page and the permit comparison show that string and the line “Dated conversion: not recorded.” A total-cost view would need a sourced operator price. Until that exists, the total is not calculated.
Fee history is one row — the current string — at each trail’s permit history page. Earlier tariffs are not backfilled.
