National superroutes

Four numbered SchweizMobil national hiking superroutes cleared a connected OSM line within 3% of the official kilometre. Three others did not, and are not published.

Via Alpina is national route 1: Vaduz / Gaflei in Liechtenstein to Montreux, 379.5 km OSM 2-D. The stored line starts in Liechtenstein; the first stage crosses into Switzerland.

Trans Swiss Trail is national route 2: Porrentruy to Mendrisio, 510.1 km walking. Official stage 7 begins with a scheduled boat across Lac de Neuchâtel (Neuchâtel to Cudrefin) because there are no suitable trails. That crossing is logistics, not walking distance, and is not in the DataPoint.

Alpine Panorama Trail is national route 3: Rorschach to Genève, 505.7 km OSM 2-D.

ViaGottardo is national route 7: Basel to Chiasso, 322.1 km walking. Official stage 7 is covered mainly by scheduled boat on Lake Lucerne (Luzern KKL to Flüelen). The boat is not walking distance and is not in the DataPoint.

The Walker’s Haute Route in Valais is in this catalog as a pin-to-pin schematic (122.6 km), not a verified OSM walking line. Published walking figures on the record are cross-checks. What is not listed

Three national superroutes — ViaJacobi (national 4), the Jura Crest Trail (national 5), and the Alpine Passes Trail (national 6) — are intentionally absent. Their OSM geometry was branched or incomplete, so this desk hard-stopped rather than stitch a line or invent kilometres. The same bar omitted regional SchweizMobil routes whose OpenStreetMap line could not be verified against the official figure. That candour is the product, not a hole to fill with a guess.
