How to apply
- Create or sign in to a Recreation.gov account.
- Open Coyote Buttes North Advanced Lottery (permit 274309).
- Choose your hike date in the target month. For March 2027, apply in November.
- Submit during 1–30 Nov 2026 and pay the $6 application fee.
- Check email after the 1 Dec draw. If selected, confirm and pay the $7 per person or dog recreation fee by the deadline on Recreation.gov. Winners confirm by the 15th of that month.
