Ireland's first record is the Kerry Way, the longest signposted walking trail in the country — a Killarney loop around the Iveragh Peninsula. There is no walking permit; the logistics are independent B&B nights and Irish rail or bus into Killarney. Official portal kerryway.ie (not kerryway.com). The walking is low ridges, bog, and weather, not alpine.
